About Sophia

Hi! I'm Sophia, currently in my third year at NYU, majoring in Integrated Design Media with a minor in Business Studies. My academic journey started in liberal studies and economics, but my heart was always set on being a creative problem-solver through technology and digital interfaces. At NYU, I dabbled in everything from creative coding and sound design to 3D modeling, and found my true passion in product design. I thrive on collaborating with peers from diverse disciplines to create solutions that are not just effective but also user-friendly and accessible.

Outside school and work, I'm an avid golfer with 8 years of experience, including a stint as a varsity player at Stevenson School. Music is my other passion – I've been playing the Bassoon since middle school and still love performing in bands, especially when people curiously ask, “What’s a bassoon?” In my downtime, I enjoy traveling and capturing memories, combining my love for exploration with my creative pursuits.
